Olympic National park is located on the Olympic peninsula (north west Washington) and measures about 3700 square km. The park, which was established in 1938, consists of two seperate parts.
One part is formed by a 101 Km (63 mi.) long strip of land along the Pacific Ocean coastline. The second part is located in the nothern part of the Olympic peninsula.
